Founded in 1964. The aims of this educational charity are the conservation, restoration, study, selection and improvement of our native and near native honeybees of Britain and Ireland.

As a member of the Bee Improvement and Bee Breeders Association (BIBBA) I am using the native bee of the UK and Ireland (prior to foreign introductions starting in 1859). Our aim is to breed a quiet, varroa tolerant and productive bee.
